2 - I've pushed through my writing slump and have written 40,000 words in my New Adult novel (here)! I've just finished chapter 30 and forsee about another 10 chapters until the first draft is completed.
3 - My 1-more-day-left-of-2nd-grade son is struggling to find something he wants to read about for school. So he and I came up with a book idea that I have started writing called Terry Tarantula and the Jewel Thief (see more here). He is super excited about this book and reminds me almost every day to finish writing it - I'm 4 chapters into it with 6 left to write!

And that just about wraps up my updates. I'm excited about the progress I've made on both of these writing projects and hope I can keep updating here more frequently. But, with summer vacation only 1 day away, I'm not promising anything...though I'd like to :)
